2021 LEXUS IS: The redesigned compact sedan will stay on the

current platform, but Lexus touts better handling and responsiveness and a host of new infotainment and safety features. A new
suspension and the use of lighter materials will help make the IS
quicker. The base IS 300 gets a 241-horsepower 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission,
while the IS 350 comes with a 311-horsepower 3.5-litre V-6. Included
is the Lexus Safety System+ that includes lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking and dynamic radar cruise control.

2021 BMW 4 SERIES: It's about 13 centimetres longer and 2.5

centimetres wider and has a new grille design made to better cool
the engines. Every 4-Series trim receives more power than before.
The 430i and 430i xDrive coupe
get 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engines that generate
255 horsepower. The M440i
xDrive coupe comes with a
382-horsepower six-cylinder.
Among the safety features is the
ability to automatically record
and save up to 20 seconds in the
event of a collision.

2021 TOYOTA COROLLA HATCHBACK
SPECIAL EDITION: The company is offering

just 200 of these unique Corolla hatchbacks
for the 2021 model year, beginning in late summer. They come in "Supersonic Red" and get
black 18-inch alloy wheels and a black rear roof
spoiler, among other design flourishes. The
hatchback also offers a lower cargo floor, adding
about 29 per cent more capacity.

2021 NISSAN ROGUE: Nissan's top selling
vehicle in Canada gets its first redesign since
2014 and it's a dramatic one. The Rogue's
new styling improves the crossover's aerodynamics by five per cent, says Nissan, and
the vehicle is about 40 kilograms lighter than
before thanks to aluminum doors, hood and
fender. It also gets a new 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine that has 10 per cent more output
than its predecessor, clocking in at 181 horsepower. The new Rogue has six trim levels,
down from eight.

2021 FORD MUSTANG MACH 1: If the Mustang
Mach-E crossover looks to Ford's electric future, the
Mach 1 takes a page from the brand's past. Ford is
bringing the Mach 1 brand back into the Mustang
lineup for the first time since 2004 as a bridge model
between the GT and the track-inspired GT350. The
Mach 1 gets a 480-horsepower 5.0-litre V-8 and a sixspeed manual transmission, although a 10-speed
automatic is available. Exterior features include unique 19-inch wheels and a grille featuring lamp
circles on both sides of the Mustang logo. - ANC
