convert Oshawa Assembly for pickup production
had already begun. Unlike spending announced
for Canadian Ford and FCA plants for electric-vehicle production later this decade, the
Oshawa deal took effect immediately after contract ratification.
Still, Bell said the investment is important for
GM's electrification plan, which includes $20 billion in spending globally by 2025.

ready to be returned. A feature
similar to ride-hailing apps lets

is being expanded nationally in
