Upgraded dealership shows

Ford will be replaced by a new store
and renamed Cambridge Ford.
The dealership, located about 100
kilometres southwest of Toronto,
is owned by dealer principal Drew
Tilson and managing partner Kevin
Zimic. The opening is scheduled for
the first quarter of 2022.
It will have " more room for inventory,
more service bays and service
drive-throughs, a bigger parts department,
EV charging stations, airport
lounge-grade waiting areas and complimentary
Wi-Fi, " Zimic said.
Contact-free remote shopping will
be available and service customers
will be offered free pickup and dropoff
of their vehicles. Eighteen service
bays include tooling and systems for
EV repairs and updates.
" Our investment shows a commitment
to Cambridge and area, " said
Zimic. " We ... shop local and generate
opportunities for businesses and suppliers
throughout the community. "

Kijiji partners with Cox
Automotive for online platform
ONLINE SALES PLATFORM KIJIJI
Autos, and Cox Automotive, whose
entities include Kelly Blue Book,
Manheim and Dealertrack, are joining
forces to give shoppers an endto-end
buying experience from vehicle
selection to financing and delivery.
In
addition to browsing vehicles
online and connecting with dealers,
shoppers on Kijiji Autos now will
be able to get on-the-spot financing
and arrange to pick up their purchase
at the dealer. Kijiji Autos'
head Leanne Kripp said the COVID19
pandemic has made Canadians
more comfortable with making
big-ticket purchases online.
The companies said in a release
the enhanced platform will allow
dealers to connect with more qualified
buyers and remove traditional
barriers to purchasing a vehicle.
There is no subscription or other
fees for dealers, who pay only when
financing is approved.

50 million visits monthly and more
than six million unique visitors

Co-op looks to expand pilot
charger program to B.C.
SASKATOON, SASK. - ONE OF
Western Canada's largest retail networks,
Federated Co-operatives
Ltd., is adding to its list of services
an electric-vehicle charging system
that will extend across all three
Prairie provinces.
The 16-site pilot called Co-op
Connect, with $1.4 million in fundA
