See you at K2019!

ith what may be described as
the mother of all plastics
trade shows nearly upon us,
the plastics industry is humming with activity, gearing up for eight full
days of K 2019 in Düsseldorf. Eight days...
and the truly amazing thing is, even eight
days aren't long enough to get to see
everything. The sheer scale of the show
is such, that there will always be another
aisle to wander or hall to explore, people
to meet or live demonstration to watch.
It is rather striking, even paradoxical,
to see just how important this event is
in the plastics industry, even in today's
digital, networked environment. Connected though we may be, screen contact can't compare to the atmosphere,
the sheer energy, buzz, excitement and
noise of real people and real machines. Why
otherwise would just under 3,200 international exhibitors gather together to show off
their newest and latest technologies, products and services? Why otherwise would an
expected 200,000+ number of visitors want
to come to see them in Düsseldorf?

after this issue's closing date, regretfully,
it was not possible to include everything
