South Korea's Songwon
Industrial Group has announced the unexpected death of the company's CEO, Maurizio
Butti, aged 62.
"The entire Songwon family mourns the sudden
loss of our CEO. With the organisation since 2006, Maurizio was an inspiring leader,
managing the company with
humour, integrity and pas-

sion," said Jongho Park,
chairman of the board.
Maurizio, who passed
away 7 Sept, joined
Songwon as the president and CEO of Songwon International AG
and member of the Songwon
industrial group executive committee in Switzerland in 2006.
He became the group COO in
2011 and was promoted to chief
executive officer in March 2016.
