CORPORATE LADDER MOVING UP THE LINE AT AOL AOL INC. has taken one step closer to its planned reorganization with its promotion last month of Chief Financial Officer Artie Minson Jr. to chief operating officer. He will oversee the company’s plan to form three operating units and will continue to serve as chief financial officer until a replacement is found. The goal of these new units—AOL Membership Group, Content Brands Group and the Advertising.com Group—is to help drive traffic and revenue, said an AOL spokeswoman. “It’s about pushing improvements at AOL,” she said. Mr. Minson, 41, returned to AOL in 2009 as chief financial officer after spending time as executive vice president and deputy chief financial officer at Time Warner Cable. Earlier, he had headed AOL’s corporate finance and development efforts. AOL did not previously have a chief operating officer. “Since he left Time Warner Cable, Artie’s career progress has been breathtaking,” said analyst Laura Martin of Needham & Co. “The fact that they are elevating Artie at AOL means they’ve gotten to a point in their turnaround that they can bring in professional management. They can now organize on a more ongoing basis, and not crisis to crisis.” —EMILY LAERMER CBRE KNOWS NEW YORK Carlton House 306 E 61st St 660 Madison Ave 650 Madison Ave 500 Park Ave 130 E 59th St 767 Fifth Ave 745 Fifth Ave 598 Madison Ave 15 E 57th St 450 Park Ave 126 E 56th St 555 Madison Ave 545 Madison Ave 693 Fifth Ave 540 Madison Ave 535 Madison Ave 410 Park Ave 400 Park Ave 399 Park Ave 900 Third Ave 885 Third Ave 520 Madison Ave 10 E 53rd St 510 Madison Ave 55 E 52nd St 601 Lexington Ave 875 Third Ave 150 E 52nd St 600 Lexington Ave 599 Lexington Ave 575 Lexington Ave 570 Lexington Ave 825 Third Ave 444 Madison Ave 437 Madison Ave 424 Madison Ave 805 Third Ave 780 Third Ave 280 Park Ave 350 Fifth Ave 579 Fifth Ave 575 Fifth Ave 565 Fifth Ave 250 Park Ave 245 Park Ave 747 Third Ave 730 Third Ave 140 E 45th St 450 Lexington Ave 708 Third Ave 200 Park Ave 360 Madison Ave 535 Fifth Ave 529 Fifth Ave 521 Fifth Ave 340 Madison Ave 335 Madison Ave 420 Lexington Ave 405 Lexington Ave 815 Second Ave 685 Third Ave 675 Third Ave 655 Third Ave 150 E 42nd St 60 E 42nd St 295 Madison Ave 292 Madison Ave 290 Madison Ave 285 Madison Ave 270 Madison Ave 16 E 40th St 100 Park Ave 2 Park Ave 1250 Broadway 11 Times Square 17 Penn Plaza 275 Seventh Ave 5 Penn Plaza 10 W 74th St 1865 Broadway 3 Columbus Circle The Plaza 730 Fifth Ave 30 W 57th St 40 W 57th St 152 W 57th St 250 W 57th St 712 Fifth Ave 1370 Ave of Americas 888 Seventh Ave 250 W 55th St 254 W 54th St 1700 Broadway 1345 Ave of Americas 1325 Ave of Americas 680 Fifth Ave 1285 Ave of Americas 1270 Ave of Americas 787 Seventh Ave 1633 Broadway 1619 Broadway Rockefeller Center 600 Fifth Ave 590 Fifth Ave 1212 Ave of Americas 1585 Broadway 33 W 46th St 550 Fifth Ave 546 Fifth Ave 25 W 45th St 1166 Ave of Americas 1540 Broadway 120 W 45th St 1150 Ave of Americas 1515 Broadway 1114 Ave of Americas 1500 Broadway 1466 Broadway 1095 Ave of Americas 500 Fifth Ave 7 Times Square 452 Fifth Ave 7 Bryant Park 104 W 40th St 1040 Ave of Americas 1065 Ave of Americas 1412 Broadway 1411 Broadway 211 W 40th St 620 Eighth Ave 250 W 39th St 10 W 37th St 20 W 37th St 1001 Ave of Americas 1372 Broadway 1370 Broadway 1359 Broadway 989 Ave of Americas 16 W 36th St 498 Seventh Ave 240 W 37th St 229 W 36th St 240 W 35th St 3 W 35th St 362 Fifth Ave 358 Fifth Ave 1 W 34th St 145 E 125th St 2090 AC Powell Jr. Blvd 21 W 86th St Hudson Yards #1 IN REAL ESTATE SERVICES WORLDWIDE www.cbre.com 888.707.3908 10 | Crain’s New York Business | July 16, 2012 http://www.Advertising.com http://www.crainsnewyork.com/section/ http://www.cbre.com http://www.cbre.com
