He was previously associate partner. —emily laermer CORPORATE LADDER STARTUP BLUEFIN REELS IN CHIEF EXECUTIVE AFTER SPENDING more than a decade working for ad agencies, J.P. Maheu will return to the startup world as chief executive at Bluefin Labs. He will lead the social TV analytics company as it enters its next phase of growth. “Most of the innovation, creativity and new initiatives in the [marketing] industry come from startups,” said Mr. Maheu, 48, who spent six years working for Razorfish in its early days, including two as chief executive. “I want to be there, with the startups, creating, innovating and contributing to the science of marketing.” Most recently, Mr. Maheu was chief executive at Publicis Modem, the digital marketing arm of Publicis Worldwide, and chief digital officer at Ogilvy & Mather.
