Economics is interesting to Stuart Eynon ,
but pursuing a career in it didn't add up. Eynon
wanted meaningful work. He found it after
new degree in nursing.

" I thought (the clinical rotation) was so interesting getting to know patients,
getting to know their backgrounds, what their life was like, and what are
their challenges, " he says. " Everything clicked and it brought me back to
when I was working with adolescent boys in Wyoming. I felt like this was
an environment that I was really comfortable in, and I knew in that moment
what I wanted to do as a nurse. "
Eynon's now about to walk across the stage and accept a master's degree
from CU Nursing's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
He hopes to nurse in an inpatient psychiatric unit
and help people struggling with illness find the right
medications and right treatments to return home and
live full, happy lives.
