Attention Junior Researchers: Application Deadline for
the Research Training Award for Fellows Approaching

he ASH Research Training
Award for Fellows (RTAF)
is designed to encourage
junior researchers in hematology, hematology/oncology, or
hematology-related training programs to pursue a career in academic hematology. Intended for
both MD and MD-PhD researchers between their second and fifth
year of fellowship, this award

will grant $70,000 to allow fellows
in training the benefit of protected
time for clinical, basic, or translational research for a year. Awardees
also receive $1,000 to be allocated
