Career Development Award
provides first-, second-, and

with $42,000 of funding for a one-

The ASH Hematology Opportunities for the Next Generation
of Research Scientists (HONORS)
Award provides research funding
for first-, second-, and third-year
medical students and first- and
second-year medical residents,
and encourages them to continue
research careers in hematology
beyond medical school. The two
project options available include
a summer project to be conducted
over a maximum of three months
or a flexible project to be conducted
over a span of three to 12 months.
Awardees will receive a $5,000 stipend to support their research and
a $1,000 travel allowance each year
for two years to support attendance
at the ASH annual meeting. If you
