to disinfect cubicle worksurfaces, file cabinets, chairs, etc. With a job title of "day
porter," Mara "Mecca" Recio has become
a familiar face to those who come to the
Waterfront, as she is often seen sanitizing
the public facing areas such as the security
guard's stations, the cashier's offices, lobby
seating, and reception chairs.

been the maintenance of a safe and healthy
work environment for OCFO staff who come
to the building to complete critical assignments. For their safety and protection,
Logistics receives and delivers personal protective equipment as needed.
Since March 2020, Logistics has worked
with the property managers to ensure that

Just to give us an added challenge, we
experienced a major flood on the 3rd, 2nd
and 1st floors of 1101 4th Street, SW. Thanks
to the quick action of the property manager's
weekend security service, the damage was
limited to the physical structure and no major
damage was sustained to the OCFO's computer equipment or other assets.
However, there was significant damage to
a wide area of carpet and floorboards along
several walls. Logistics worked closely with
the property manager over many weeks to
