3. In what ways are the
Systems Implementation and
OCM teams intersecting?
Why do you believe the integration between the two are
important?
Janine: Early on, it became apparent
that, in order to be successful, we need to
act as one team. It is critical for OCM team
members to understand how the system is
changing. And, it is important that we make
sure that when the implementation team
meets to discuss process changes, we are
including OCM team members. At the end
of the day, we are all ambassadors of this
change.

Vernessa: The Implementation and
OCM teams must work together every step
of the way. If we aren't glued at the hip, there

will be gaps and issues and we won't be
successful. Also, it's not just ensuring OCM
and Implementation are working together,
but also that our contractors and Deloitte,
the system integrator, are making sure we're
all on the same page.

Janine: It helps that Vernessa and I have
worked together in the past. We work well
together and understand that we're here for
a common goal.

4. How do you foster a collaborative team environment in a
complex/ambiguous space?
Janine: I believe in the saying "There
is no I in team!" Our biggest challenge has
been understanding and accepting that
our roles have changed. We came onto this
project and dove straight into execution. We
