New Financial System

Naming & Logo Contest

WINNERS!

In October, we started the quest to find the most creative and innovative name and logo for the District's new financial system which will
replace SOAR. More than 35 District employees submitted their ideas,
and a panel of judges chose the most original and relevant name and
logo. On Thursday, November 21st , the finalists and winners were
announced during an "Academy Award" themed event. The finalists in

Congratulations to our winners: David Diep who created the name,
and Rishawna Gould who created the logo. Both winners received tickets to the Mayor's Box Seat for a Washington Wizards game as a reward
for their creativity. The project team is excited to officially use the name
District Integrated Financial System, or DIFS for short, and the logo featured below!
