8. Duvaltex has introduced its
new CLEAN IMPACT TEXTILES
Collection, the industry's
first post-consumer recycled
biodegradable polyester
textile for commercial interiors. This innovative
technology allows Duvaltex
to create high-performance
fabrics that are long-wearing
in commercial interiors, but
that can biodegrade in landfill or wastewater treatment
conditions at a rate similar
to that of natural fibers
(tested under ASTM D5511).

9. Relaxing Floors is a modular system designed by 13&9 in
collaboration with Fractals
Research and Mohawk Group.
This collection is the
culmination of art, science
and human-centered design
based on fractal patterns that
scientific research shows
have stress-reductive qualities. Relaxing Floors uses
fractals to give our eyes a
break from the digital world
and deliver the essence of nature. It is manufactured using
Mohawk Group's Duracolor Tricor solution-dyed nylon fiber
and EcoFlex NXT tile backing.

10. Formica Corp.'s Intentek
Wireless Charging Surface
is a laminate surface that
can wirelessly charge Qicompatible mobile phones
simply by placing devices on
it. Charging coils embedded
into the laminate create no
interruption in design,
making it an aesthetically

11. Chemetal's Moving to
Mood is a new metal surfacing
collection featuring darker
materials with layered metal
undertones. Inspired by
civilization-building metals of the Bronze, Pewter and
Brass Ages, the materials have
a neutral color palette and
offer the depth and reflectivity found only in metal.

hexagon, and is the embodiment
of a creative freedom where
shapes and colors are combined
and mixed together through
