the center of everything we do
At the annual Dewberry strategic planning meeting, our leadership gathers to
refresh our five-year plan, share ideas, and renew internal relationships. A key
component of this day's workshop is an analysis of emerging markets. We ask
our employees to prepare presentations about what they're seeing in their areas
of business and then pose questions for all participants to discuss and work on
together. While this is a critical meeting for our continued operations, there's
a secondary purpose that our professionals find most valuable: it's what they
take back to their offices and share with their clients. For instance, they hear
first-hand how one client may be encountering a new issue or regulation, so that
another client may anticipate this change-and know what to do about it.
In this issue of Dimensions® , we're highlighting market and service trends in
multiple areas of our practice. Many are being driven by technology and risk
reduction, two areas that, when coordinated toward a common solution, can
provide great benefits to communities nationwide. I hope you enjoy this issue.
