2.4 WALL TREATMENTS In order to avoid a monotonous " walled " character along the home frontages and corner edges, walls being a prominent part of the residential streetscape shall be thought of as part of the architecture. This means that the walls are of equal design importance as the homes themselves, as often, walls are highly visible and the first impression before entering the homes. Special treatments may include breeze block, built-in seatwalls, lighting, massing offsets and specially curated style specific materials. Maintaining quality and character of all aspects of the public realm is required. As such, walls are required to be designed in combination with the home it is buffering and with the streetscape that it is part of. This will enhance the overall character and appearance of the community. General Architectural Criteria 2-10
