Material Wrapping
Architectural elements must not end at the corner of a building and
shall wrap around the corner and extend to a logical terminus
point that is incorporated into the overall architectural design.
* If the front of a house has siding material as an accent,
then as a minimum, siding shall also be provided as an
accent on visible sides.
* Dissimilar materials and dissimilar colors may not terminate
at an exterior corner or in the same plane.
* Wrap columns, tower elements and pilasters entirely.
* Stucco trim, pre-cast concrete trim, cantera stone trim, cut stone
trim, brick trim, manufactured stone trim, and other applied
accent details are permitted as long as they are consistent
with the architectural style and character of the home.
Wood
Wood is a material used in many architectural styles. However,
maintenance concerns, a desire for long-term architectural
quality and new high-quality manufactured alternative wood
materials, make the use of real wood material less desirable.
Where " wood " is referred to in this document, it can also
be interpreted as simulated wood trim with style-appropriate
wood texture.
