TRANSPORTATION DISNEY’S HEALTH AND FITNESS EXPO Thursday, January 4 – Saturday, January 6 Shuttle buses will depart from WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort Hotels to Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex every 45 minutes. Transportation to the Expo will begin one hour prior to opening and will continue until one hour after closing. to accommodate all participants and spectators. Participants must board buses by 4:00 a.m. to be on time for the start. Buses will continue throughout the morning for Resort guests. You and your guests may board these buses by showing your Resort guest ID and/or your race number. After the race, and once you have joined the rest of your group, follow the signs for the Bus Pick-up Area. There you will ﬁnd transportation taking you back to your WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort Hotel. DISNEY’S FAMILY FUN RUN 5K Friday, January 5 Shuttle buses will begin departure from WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resorts to Disney-MGM Studios at 5:00 a.m. and will continue throughout the morning. Please show your race number to board the bus. Please note that the start of the 5K will be at 7:00 a.m. Plan to arrive for the 5K at least one hour prior to the start. Shuttle buses will also be available for all spectators. For the safety of the participants, the Epcot® Auto Plaza will be closed on Saturday and Sunday from 5:45 a.m. until all runners are clear of the Auto Plaza entry road. Please be prepared for delays. Spectator Transportation – Saturday and Sunday All WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort Hotels will provide transportation to Epcot® throughout the day. If you are arriving by car, follow the signs to Epcot®. At the auto plaza you will be instructed where to park. HALF MARATHON – Saturday, January 6 MARATHON – Sunday, January 7 The following transportation information applies for the Half Marathon on Saturday and the Marathon on Sunday: Monorails will begin departing from Magic Kingdom® area hotels at 3:00 a.m. The Monorail will transport you to the Ticket and Transportation Center where you will board a second Monorail that will transport you to Epcot®. Buses marked Race Start will begin departure from WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort Hotels to Epcot® at 3:00 a.m. Participants will be given priority over spectators boarding the buses to the starting area. Every effort will be made AWARDS CEREMONY AND POST RACE CELEBRATION Sunday, January 7 Shuttle buses provided by WALT DISNEY WORLD® Bus Transportation will depart from WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort Hotels to Downtown Disney® Pleasure Island throughout the day.
