The drawers and doors contain a plexiglass "look through" so that the day's attire can be staged and reveal what is to be worn. This lends itself to recollection as to what is "behind the drawer or door". Skylight in the unit provides ambient lighting throughout the cabinet to brighten the interior. White interior enables proper contrast to the resident, along with allowing ample lighting. Optional motion detecting light that casts a wayfinding light on the ground as a resident gets in and out of bed. Lockable option available to prevent confusion on the resident's part. The media center/chest of drawer hybrid allows the Reveal technology to co-exist with a media center for the resident, to serve as a dual purpose piece of furniture. Optional eye level power and USB ports for easy access. The collection includes eight configuration options. This product is made of a combination of laminates that allow for seamless construction which prevents moisture seepage and bacteria buildup. All drawers are vinyl wrapped and are full extension metal ball bearing glides that give optimum performance and durability. Jury comments: * This casegood line is very innovative and is much needed in the huge mid-market communities for Assisted Living and Memory Support. The simple window embedded in the front door or drawer is right on target with the cueing of residents living with Dementia. The other bells and whistles that they have included are simply a bonus as well as up-to-date finishes that can be used in today's market. * This product addresses the memory care environment very well by offering a product to encourage cueing for the resident. Clothes can be arranged in the evening and "displayed" for the resident in the morning. Additional features such as lighting and locking and cabinet color show research was done and incorporated. * I love that this product was developed to suit specific needs.
