As we progress through 2020-in this new
reality we're all trying to navigate-we here at
Environments for Aging recognize that every
single one of you plays a critical role in the
design, development, and ongoing improvement of senior living facilities. That's why we
continue to focus on how to best deliver the
resources you need to respond to this current
environment and thrive despite its challenges.
Part of doing that now is looking ahead
to the 2021 EFA Expo & Conference sched-

arrive on-site, which will outline all the protocols being implemented.
On a separate note, I'm excited to announce the newest addition to our EFA Expo
& Conference team. Please join me in welcoming Kristin D. Zeit as our associate show
director. If you've ever been to the show, then
you already know that she's not a new face
around EFA. As publisher of both EFA and
Healthcare Design magazines, she brings
a wealth of experience and knowledge that

uled for April 24-27 in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Although the final conference program is still
being developed, I can tell you it will live up
to your expectations and feature a wealth of
knowledge and insight relevant to this evolving
climate. We expect more than 100 conference
sessions, along with riveting keynotes, exciting
awards presentations, interactive workshops,
and community tours that will collectively
inspire new ideas in how we work to meet the
needs of seniors.
Be assured that a comprehensive risk
assessment will be conducted at the beginning of each event planning phase and then
reviewed and updated regularly. We'll also
communicate health and safety information
on our website, social media channels, and
email. Once it's confirmed that we can safely
come together again in person, all exhibitors,
attendees, sponsors, speakers, and partners
will receive a welcome packet before they

along with our entire group of valuable team
members, I'm convinced that EFA Expo &
Conference will achieve great things for this
industry-an industry that I'm beyond grateful
to be a part of.
Chattanooga will be a great host for the
upcoming show, and I look forward to reconnecting with all of you. Registration is slated to
open in December, so keep an eye out for upcoming email communications from our team.
