As we all respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, EFA is exploring
the world of virtual events and planning to meet in person in 2021

As we look ahead and adapt to this new normal, it's imperative that we work together to
stay on track with the evolving state of senior
living design. All of us on Team EFA recognize
the importance of adjusting our strategies to
respond to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic
and the socioeconomic climate that we find
ourselves in today.
For us, that started with developing and
producing the EFA Virtual Conference, held

especially when considering the limitless
possibilities on the horizon for Environments
for Aging. This new approach is a total game
changer, and I'm so excited to see what the
future holds for EFA.
As we look ahead to 2021, I can tell you
with certainty that the EFA Expo & Conference will live up to your expectations and will
feature new knowledge and insight relevant
to our current senior living climate. We're also

in June, that offered the same learning opportunities you're accustomed to, including
the invaluable opportunity to earn continuing
education credits. This new event delivered
such fantastic results and audience feedback
that we've already decided to incorporate
more digital elements into our show offerings
moving forward.
If you didn't get the chance to attend the
EFA Virtual Conference, you can still hear from
leading industry experts and high-level senior
living providers in sessions covering assisted
living, memory care, lighting design, dining
spaces, the household model, designing to
retain staff, and more-all for just $99. We're
pleased to provide you with year-long access
to our 11 sessions and CEU credits, plus bonus CEUs from our friends at Inpro and Great
American Art.
For me, exploring this virtual side of the
event world has been very thought-provoking,

making it a top priority during show planning
to collaborate with the Chattanooga Convention Center on hygienic accommodations and
exploring their on-site resources, and we'll do
so until we're 100 percent confident that we're
providing the safest environment possible.
Chattanooga, Tenn., will be a great host
city, and I look forward to seeing you there.
Registration is slated to open in December, so
