Located along the Boulevard de la Croisette, the luxury property-which dates to 1911 and currently flies the InterContinental flag-was featured in Alfred Hitchcock's 1955 film, "To Catch a Thief." (The property is also a favorite haunt for celebrities during the annual Cannes Film Festival.) Wilson representatives say more information on the timing and scope of the renovation by its Paris-based atelier will be released in coming months. CORRECTION The technology feature in the January-February 2017 issue (pages 44-50) incorrectly described the pop-up innovation lab that Marriott Intl. opened in downtown Los Angeles in January. The lab, which features design innovations for the hotelier's Aloft and Element brands, was housed in a tent near the JW Marriott at L.A. Live during the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS). The digital edition of the magazine has also been updated to include the correct information. http://deepstreamdesign.com
