Women in Design 2019 - 4

Welcome to the second annual Women in Design celebration, a collaboration between Emerald
Expositions' sister design magazines Contract, design:retail, Healthcare Design, Environments for
Aging (EFA), and Hospitality Design. As each leading brand sets out to inform and inspire our
readers, we wanted to honor a handful of changemakers who challenge themselves each day to
advance their respective industries. This year, we asked you to nominate those who you see as
redefining each field. After hundreds of submissions, we couldn't have a more deserving class of
candidates.
Not only do we get to honor them today in these pages but also at a luncheon at the 1 Hotel
Brooklyn Bridge in New York on October 4th. Their amazing work and careers are showcased
in the following pages, with more information about these 10 exceptional women available at
