The Arizona Ski Council
(ASC) was formed in 1991 and
represents two active ski/activity
clubs, totaling around 500
members, serving skiers, snowboarders,
hikers, bikers, social
members and all types of adventurers.
Our clubs share reciprocity
between each other, so one
only needs membership in one of
the clubs, to enjoy the benefits of
both.
The council and our clubs
typically plan activities throughout
the year and COVID-19
seems like it's finally in the rear
view mirror. The year ahead has
a full roster of trips planned,
from ski trips (of course), to sailing,
to scuba adventures. The social
and activity calendar is going
full steam ahead, with a variety
of weekend activities like hiking,
biking and camping planned and
enjoyed throughout the year.
Clubs that participate in
ASC are the Phoenix Ski Club
and the Scottsdale Sea & Ski
Club. These clubs are not limited
to activities in the United States,
but all over the world. Follow
the individual links connected to
each club.
The Phoenix Ski Club (PSC) -
is much more than just skiing.
PSC is an active adult social club,
whose focus is on going full
speed ahead with year-round activities.
PSC is always open to
new suggestions for events, activities
and adventures. They pride
themselves in offering a variety
of activities designed to appeal to
everybody. Traveling out of the
country or down the road to bike,
hike, sail or ski, this group focuses
on connecting with new
friends and experiences. PSC is
also involved in a number of
charities, such as Adopt-a-Highway,
Showbox Ministry, Sojourner
Center, Toys for Tots, the Phoenix
Rescue Mission and distributing
bottles of water for the Salvation
Army.
The Phoenix Ski Club's ongoing
initiative is offering family
events to engage kids in winter
activities. The hope is to engage
more parents to get their kids involved
in skiing.

their website. There are some
very fun adventures, such as a
Tanzania Safari.
The Scottsdale Sea & Ski
Club (SSSC) - is oriented towards
active adults 21 years or
older. SSSC provides year-round

activities including snow skiing
and snowboarding for all levels,
hiking, biking, rollerblading, tubing,
theme parties, camping, road
trips, day and weekend outings,
out of town trips, art walks, wine
tasting, boating, water and jet
skiing, scuba diving, kayaking,
paddle-boarding, as well as,
weekly happy hours and
monthly dinners at local restaurants.
They are a club on the
move. Look for exciting trips like
the New Zealand Adventure,
North & South, coming up in
2023. Don't just dream of having
an exciting life - join the Scottsdale
Sea & Ski Club and make it
happen.

Club has a cell phone app for
your convenience. Their website

The Bay Area Snow Sports
Council (BAC) is a very active
part of the Far West Ski Association
and the National Ski Council
Federation (www.skifederation
.org). Our focus is Having Fun.
One might ask, " Who
should join a BAC club? " A very
simple answer is YOU!
We welcome snowboarders,
skiers, cross country skiers,
snowshoers, and those who
prefer non-snow social activities.
Bay Area Snow Sports Council
has fun doing a variety of club
and council activities on and off
the snow.
The BAC has 16 active
member clubs based in the
greater San Francisco Bay area
which extends as far north as the
Napa Valley, south to Monterey /
Carmel and east to Modesto. We
feature two separate leagues
within the BAC. Our Open
League has 12 clubs and welcomes
individuals, couples, families,
and their children. Our
Singles League is made up of
four clubs with their full
members being over 21 years of
age. You'll find fun things to do all
year long with our clubs.
There is the social aspect to
