Liberty notes feedback I want to thank you for your Liberty notes “The right to bear arms” in the March issue [see page 8]. It seems that in this day and time, the media “forget” why the Second Amendment even exists. I realize that your periodical reaches a rural audience, and thus they are more receptive to conservative issues, but usually the media that same rural audience reads are contrary to their beliefs. Many times they even seek to undermine their beliefs. For not following trend, I commend you and your magazine. I am a member of georgiacarry. org. I became a member after nearly being robbed at gunpoint in Athens. That was my epiphany moment. I decided then and there to search the laws to ﬁnd out where I could legally carry and found Georgia Carry during my search. It is a nonproﬁt, grassroots, gun rights group that works, thanks to its members getting involved in the process of government. Before I joined, I had never signed up to vote. Since then, I have been to several committee meetings at the Capitol and helped both my state representatives in their campaigns. —Jeffrey Anderson, via email Picture this?
