he Harmony Jubilee festival will celebrate
a legacy of unity and diversity at Paulk Park
Campground in Fitzgerald Sept. 27-28. Activities
include a 5K run and hot-air balloon and helicopter
rides.
"The festival celebrates our history, especially
the elements of harmony and of bringing people
together," says Brandy Elrod, Fitzgerald's director of
tourism, arts and culture.
The Fitzgerald-Ben Hill Arts Council Artisan
Market will sell locally produced, handmade
goods. Other highlights include a pet fashion
show, wine and cheese tastings, kayaks on the
pond and music. The Kids' Zone features a bouncy
house, rock wall and bungee jump.
