Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Ariz. Elliott's hometown of Dawsonville
celebrated his victory with a welcome-home parade for the race car driver
and his crew on Nov. 9. Elliott follows in the footsteps of his father, Bill Elliott, who
won the NASCAR Cup Series championship in 1988.

Georgia (TCSG) students in need of financial assistance will benefit from a $1 million grant from the Robert W. Woodruff
Foundation in Atlanta. The grant will help
cover a funding gap for students studying skilled trades who have trouble paying tuition or owed fees (approximately
$250), allowing the 22 TCSG colleges to
retain and graduate more students. Turn
