Morehouse College in Atlanta placed No. 5 in USN&WR's
rankings of HBCUs and No. 100 among all national liberal arts
colleges. The private, all-male college emphasizes leadership
development and global engagement across four academic
divisions and boasts notable alumni such as civil rights leader
Martin Luther King Jr., film director and producer Spike Lee
and actor Samuel L. Jackson.

Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta is
a national leader in engineering education.
Georgia Tech has a faculty of 585 and more than 20
specialized areas of study, including biomedical engineering,
chemical engineering, mechanical engineering and industrial
engineering.

engineering programs in the nation, in large part due to the

The College of Engineering undergraduate program is
ranked No. 3 in the nation by USN&WR and consistently earns
elite recognition. Graduate programs also rank among the top in

Tech holds the top spot in doctoral degrees awarded to African
Americans and remains the largest producer of engineering
degrees for women and minorities.
" As the nation's largest program of its kind, the College of
Engineering prepares our students for the jobs of today, while
also equipping them with the skill sets they'll need to anticipate
and solve the problems of tomorrow, " says Raheem Beyah, a
professor and dean and Southern Company chair of the school
of electrical and computer engineering. " With a record-breaking
$297 million in research awards last year, we lead advancements
in artificial intelligence, aerospace, biomedical engineering and
beyond. "
Georgia Tech also has a proven history of providing a

No. 6 for internships among public institutions by The Princeton

The University of Georgia's (UGA) School of Law in Athens
has been a consistent presence among the top public law
schools.
USN&WR recently ranked the UGA School of Law in the
top 20 among 196 U.S. law schools accredited by the American
Bar Association and No. 7 among public universities.

School of Law redefines what it means to be a great national
