Ghosts come alive for Halloween in Eatonton

Panola Hall, an Antebellum Greek Revival home, holds
another secret.

Ghostly forms peering out of second-story windows?
Children's laughter heard in Eatonton's 100-year-old schoolhouse?
Two small children playing in the town's old cemetery?
These and other mysteries will unfold at Haunted
Eatonton's Ghost Tours tours Oct. 24-26 through the
storytelling of author Ann Hite.
" Eatonton has its share of ghosts and haunted sites, "
has kept locals guessing for decades, " Bell says. " No one knows
why it was built or where it led, but all of a sudden it just stops. "
The two-hour tours feature 10 stops during the 1-mile walk
through historic downtown Eatonton.
