Lunatic's microfluidic consumables have a unique
architecture allowing OD measurements to be done with
high confidence. Each instrument is accompanied by two
different types of consumables comprising one (Lunatic
Plate and Lunatic Chip) or two (High Lunatic Plate and High
Lunatic Chip) micro-cuvettes with differing submillimeter
path lengths. As these micro-cuvettes are molded, they are
fixed and accurate allowing stable and reproducible results
every time. In this way, quantification of an unmatched
range from 0.03 up to 275 OD range is allowed without any
