There's a hint of fall and "hope" in the air

hroughout its 208-year history, The New England Journal of Medicine has remained staunchly nonpartisan.
The world's most prestigious medical journal has never supported or condemned a political candidate. Until
now. In a blunt editorial, The New England Journal of Medicine called for replacing "dangerously incompetent"
political leadership in the United States - essentially an endorsement of former Vice President Joe Biden.
Founded in 1845, Scientific American magazine brings science to the general public. It is the oldest continuously
published monthly in the US and for 175 years, which includes the Civil War, it has refrained from endorsing a
presidential candidate....that is, until now, when the editors published a damning critique of Donald Trump and full
throated endorsement of Joseph R. Biden, Jr.
That puts GRAND in good company by urging readers to vote for Joe. We are all about grandkids...the world
they grow into is central to our mission. We believe Joe (and Jill) Biden and Vice President Harris will promote civil,
reality-based dialogue, will work for a fairer society and to protect the planet. This may be the clearest choice there
has ever been between the forces of progress and darkness.
We are honored to feature a true hero, Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu
the South African Anglican cleric, theologian, and Nobel Peace Prize laureate. He
is known for his incredible work as an anti-apartheid and human rights activist.
