Description: CKA-3 is a promoted, alumina-based catalyst that converts COS present in the process gas into H2S, which is easier to remove downstream, e.g., by absorption. Advantages: CKA-3 works at relatively low temperature and requires only small amounts of water to perform the COS hydrolysis.
