2020 CATALYST HANDBOOK INDUSTRY CATEGORIES PROCESS CATEGORIES COMPANY INDEX REFINING Hydrotreating Topsoe FCC Gasoline Hydrotreatment, HyOctane Catalysts Application: Topsoe's HyOctane series (Fig. 1) is specially developed for selective hydrogenation and selective desulfurization units in FCC gasoline posttreatment. The catalysts have very high HDS and HDN activity, but very low hydrogenation activity. Therefore, these catalysts are excellent as catalysts for the FCC naphtha posttreatment units, aiming for saturation of diolefins and sulfur removal while minimizing octane loss. Catalysts in this series include TK-703 HyOctane, TK-710 HyOctane, TK-712 HyOctane and TK-747 HyOctane. Description: These catalysts are designed for saturation of diolefins and selective removal of sulfur in FCC gasoline streams.
