DESCRIPTION: HGAS1SP is ITM Power's smallest containerized PEM electrolyzer
system. This electrolyzer is a plug-and-play product, which includes a single
ITM Power high-efficiency PEM electrolyzer stack, alongside all the necessary
sub-systems required to produce high-purity, self-pressurized hydrogen gas.
The HGAS1SP is rated at about 0.65 MW start of life, including all sub-systems
and can produce approximately 11 kg of hydrogen/hr. The fully integrated turnkey
system is packaged in two separate ISO containers:
1. The electrolyzer container, which includes the electrolyzer stack, process
equipment (including water cleanup), hydrogen purification and a
programmable logic controller (PLC) control system.
2. The power supply container, which includes power distribution within
the equipment and rectifiers for the electrolyzer stacks.
The system's site requirements include a medium voltage AC electrical connection
and water supply of drinking quality. Produced hydrogen gas is of high purity and
suitable for downstream applications such as in refueling stations, gas-grid injection
and any other industrial processes that require hydrogen.
