HGAS3SP
DESCRIPTION: HGAS3SP is ITM Power's largest
containerized PEM electrolyzer system. This electrolyzer
is a plug-and-play product, which includes three
ITM Power high-efficiency PEM electrolyzer stacks,
alongside all the necessary sub-systems required to
produce high-purity, self-pressurized hydrogen gas.
The HGAS3SP is rated at ~2 MW start of life (including
all sub-systems) and can produce about 36 kg of
hydrogen/hr. All other features of the fully integrated
turnkey system are similar to that of the HGAS1SP.

longevity and self-pressurization. PEM
electrolyzers are particularly well-suited
to using renewable energy due to their ability
to respond rapidly to fluctuations in

can refuel a fuel cell electric vehicle in minutes.

enables variable operation and rapid
stack exchange in the field.
* Hydrogen quality generated is of purity

hydrogen application for refining, methanation, renewable
ammonia, steel, glass, mining, and renewable methanol.
Energy storage applications include decarbonizing
heat, grid balancing, hydrogen islands, power-to-gas
energy storage, hydrogen tube trailer filling, back-up
power, storing renewable energy and hydrogen lighting.
Fuel applications include hydrogen fuel stations
for cars, buses, trains, trucks; hydrogen for shipping and
materials handling.
