DESCRIPTION: Next Hydrogen water electrolyzers'
new and innovative design offers unprecedented
operational flexibility and enables generation of
MW-scale hydrogen economically. Next Hydrogen
electrolyzers were created specifically as capital
efficient renewable hydrogen production solutions for
variable operation to capture the entire output range of
intermittent or fluctuating sources of electrical power,
including renewables, using significantly smaller or
fewer units than a traditional electrolyzer solution.
ADVANTAGES/KEY FEATURES: Next Hydrogen's
electrolyzers are designed to operate at higher current
density and produce more hydrogen per capital
expenditure dollar spent when compared to other
leading alkaline systems.
* Highest current density alkaline electrolyzer
on the market: Generates more hydrogen vs.
a competing product with the same active
surface area-up to 2.5 times current density,
leading to 2.5 times more hydrogen produced,
while using the same commercially proven
raw materials as other commercial systems.
* Enhanced dynamic response enables
load following for renewables: Fluid flow
restrictions are eliminated, allowing superior
dynamic response.
* Inherently scalable design: Multi-MW scale
for single units, driving economies of scale as
Next Hydrogen's electrolyzers can scale up
its power by a factor of 300%, with
approximately the same footprint.
* Enhanced safety: Reduced gas fractions
during strenuous operating conditions.

* Footprint: Requires up to 140 m2 for the
system site area, which is customizable.
If certain components can be located
elsewhere on site, this footprint can
be reduced down to 100 m2.
