C Series
DESCRIPTION: Nel Hydrogen's C-series electrolyzers utilize Proton® PEM
technology to produce pressurized, high volume, ultra-high purity hydrogen onsite.
This electrolyzer series features PEM technology in a compact form of hydrogen
generator, with two integrated, automated, site-ready enclosures. These systems
replace the need for hydrogen tube trailers and liquid hydrogen storage. They can be
containerized, offering facilities flexible siting and reduced safety risks associated with
delivered hydrogen. C-series electrolyzers features:
* Dual-mode operation (selectable):
° Load following mode automatically adjusts output 0%-100%
to match demand
° Tank filling mode operates with power-conservation mode during standby.
* Full differential pressure, hydrogen over oxygen.
ADVANTAGES/KEY FEATURES: Standard features include:
* Fully automated push button start/stop
* Automatic fault detection and system depressurization
* On-board hydrogen leak detection
* Remote control, communications and operation, e-stop.
Non-standard options available include:
* RO/DI water system
* Cooler/chiller system
* Dew point monitoring
* Low (-10°C-40°C) and high (5°C-50°C) ambient temperature packages.
