This series has been a testament to
the ingenuity of people from around the
world that have contributed to the evolution
of societies through discovery and
creation. These advancements have increased
the standard of living for billions
of people around the world for more than
a century. Unless we tell their stories and
discoveries, most will be lost in history. Instead,
these stories and accomplishments
should be celebrated in hopes of inspiring
new generations of innovators, risk-takers,
creators and developers to be pioneers for
new technologies, processes and inventions
to the betterment of humanity.
