The newly reinvigorated
American Augers / Trencor
combined brand is committed
to the success of customers of
both brands. "We don't want
Trencor customers - who depend on us for market-leading
trenchers and surface miners - to feel as though they get
second-tier service, mistakenly
thinking our focus is just on
American Augers customers,"
said Lee Drugan, marketing
manager for the company. "And
we don't want American Augers
customers, who look to us for
rugged and dependable auger
boring machines, large HDD
machines and mud pumps and
cleaning systems, to think we
are taking our eye off the ball
because we're also serving Trencor customers. We are equally
committed to both brands."
"And that commitment is
not 9-to-5," added David Hammond, president of American
Augers / Trencor. "We understand the kind of business our
customers are in. Because of
that, we're always on the clock.
We provide 24/7 customer
service because we know that
sometimes our customers hit a
roadblock in the middle of a job
and need help right away. We
want them to know we are their
partners in the field - no matter the conditions and, yes, on
weekends, too."
Hammond said it starts with
products engineered and built

to withstand the brutal conditions in the field. "That basic requirement applies whether the
rig in question bears Trencor
yellow or the distinctive American Augers blue."
Drugan said the new website
design underscores the 'two
brands, one commitment' message. "Users can easily jump to
whichever brand they need. The
slick design of the mobile-responsive site makes it easy for
visitors to navigate between the
two brands to access detailed
product specifications, as well
as information and registration
for training, warranty, support
manuals, parts sales, dealers,
reps and team contacts."
Upgrades to the new website's blog have already made
it easier, Drugan said, to keep
up to date with changes as they
occur and for contractors to see
how other pros like themselves
are using both brands to grow
their businesses. The addition
of a video element to all new
blog posts going forward will
make it easier - and more interesting - to stay up to date on
interesting projects featuring
American Augers and Trencor rigs. The blog also gives the
company a venue for promoting their customers' work.
American Augers / Trencor has plans to add a special
section for how-to videos to
the website in the near future.
While customers are always encouraged to call for help if they
need it, experience has shown
that some users prefer to have
an online video resource such
as video tutorials to refer to as
needed.
The website also provides
a portal to the company's
Equipment Training School.

with the operators of their
equipment to aid them in the

successful completion of their
projects. They believe that one
contributing factor to success is
