HOBAS Pipe USA to Supply a New Line of Non-Circular Pipe H HOBAS Pipe USA has added non-circular profiles to its product line. The non-circular shapes, imported from an affiliate in Europe, consists of glass-reinforced polyester pipes designed for constructing or rehabilitating non-circular sewers. Consisting of polyester or Vinyl ester resin, quartz sand and glass, these special pipes can be made in virtually any shape to fit inside the old sewer for rehabilitation. The product standards for non-circular GRP pipe systems ISO 16611 and ÖNORM B 5163 define requirements for non-circular GRP (glass reinforced unsaturated polyester resins) pipe systems intended to be used for non-pressure application. The non-circular pipes are manufactured on a computer-controlled machine that can produce specially shaped pipes with both circular and non-circular cross-sections of various configuration. Different pipe shapes and wall thicknesses can be supplied and are selected on the basis of the design requirements. Design and manufacture of the profiles thus meets a wide range of customer specifications. The profiles have leakfree joints, inherent corrosion resistance and superior hydraulics that maintain maximum flow capacity.
