Sewer Construction and Rehabilitation
Sessions include challenges faced before and during the repair of a
sanitary sewer line caused by a sinkhole during a hurricane and the
different methods of pipe rehabilitation used; alternative solutions to
bypass pumping; rehabilitation of the Elm Fork Relief Interceptor and
the responsibilities and relationships between owner, general contractor
and the subcontractor. The sewer and water track will also feature
a keynote address.

Damage Prevention and Safety
Sessions include industry trends related to underground safety and
damage prevention; innovative GPS-based excavator alarm system
when digging close to a utility; leading practices for Cross Bore Risk
Reduction and OSHA's National Emphasis Program for Trench Work.

New! Microtunneling/Tunneling/Auger Boring
This new track for 2020 will include sessions on the design methodology
associated with deep tunnel construction in TxDOT right-of-way and
you'll hear perspectives from the owner and the engineering consultant;
alternative analysis, document development and procurement of a
contract for large-diameter trenchless pipe installation below an active
Amtrak Commuter Rail Corridor and Army Corps Flood Wall; and advances
