held Nov. 11-13, in San Antonio, the

John Deere's new 7,500-square-foot facility in Coal
Valley, Ill., is part of the Construction & Forestry Training
Campus and includes three classrooms that can be used
separately for training purposes or combined to hold
more than 250 people for larger events. In addition,
nearly 4,000 square feet of covered canopy space provides outdoor training and equipment walkarounds.
The facility will also include a John Deere simulator - further bridging the gap between the classroom and job
site. Onsite events include customer-specific activities where they can demo equipment and interact with John
Deere experts.

Sure Shot Holdings Acquires Four
Utility Service Companies

Sure Shot Holdings LLC, parent company of Sure Shot Drilling, acquired four
Colorado-based utility service companies: DrillTech Directional Services,
Pinnacle Development, BAS Rentals, and A to Z Cable Construction.
DrillTech Directional Services Inc., now known as DrillTech LLC, is a
market-leading horizontal directional drilling (HDD) company. It was founded
by Leighton and Cliff Cartwright, both of whom will continue to oversee the
business as part of the acquisition.
Pinnacle Development Inc. is another leading directional drilling company
serving the telecommunications and municipal markets. Its founder, Rick Allison,
will remain as president of the successor company, Pinnacle Development LLC.
BAS Rentals Inc., a traffic control design and maintenance company, is
merging with A to Z Cable Construction, an infrastructure support services firm,
to form A to Z Field Services. The combined company will be led by Leonard
Sanderson, a long-term manager involved with the business.
Sure Shot Holdings was formed in 2015 to develop a leading
underground utility services company pursuing strategic acquisitions in the
telecommunications, power, and gas distribution markets. To date, the Denver,
Colo., company has completed five acquisitions of businesses supporting major
telecommunications carriers, large public EPC companies, and is one of the
