Leaking service laterals and lateral connections
are a source of signifi cant groundwater
infi ltration into collection systems. According
to the EPA, as much as 60 percent of overfl ow
comes from leaking service connections.
Injection grouts such as AV-100®
Chemical
Grout are a cost-eff ective, long-term solution
to eliminating infi ltration in structurally sound
laterals and lateral connections.
Using remote packer equipment that extends
up the lateral, AV-100 is forced under pressure
through defects into the surrounding soil,
forming a grout/soil matrix that is impermeable
to infi ltration. After CIPP lining, injection grouts
are often used to stop infi ltration that occurs at
the lateral reinstatement.

The redesigned Bluelight LED CIPP lining system
for laterals and small drainpipes is the most
advanced light-curing system available. The
innovative technology alleviates the time pressures
of other CIPP systems. A specially formulated resin
only cures under light in the " blue " wavelength,
giving installers a signifi cantly longer working time
between liner wet-out and curing.
Once installed, the automated curing system
pulls the LED light head through the liner, curing
the resin almost instantly - up to fi ve times faster
than other methods. For example, a 50-foot
sewer line can be fully cured in under 10 minutes,
versus hours.

CUES' small and large Currahee cutters are
specifi cally designed to reinstate wastewater
service laterals, remove protruding taps, and
brush-fi nish existing cuts. Functioning in a range
of 5.25- through 36-inch pipe, the cutters are
equally eff ective in CIPP or fold-and-form liners
and can be installed on any CCTV manufacturer's
truck-mounted system.
In addition, a new 1.9-horsepower air motor
for the small Currahee cutter line delivers
increased power and productivity, and a
smoother cut when operating in 6- to 12-inch
relined pipe.
For use with Kangaroo air-motors, service
kits are available for retrofi tting, or regular
maintenance intervals on, existing motors.

With its powerful cutting motor, the house

LMK Technologies' T-Liner is a one-piece,
homogenous main and lateral CIPP connection
liner that is ASTM F2561-20 compliant. It has a
uniform wall thickness and can be installed with
either polyester or epoxy resin.
Used with our Insignia compression gasketsealing
technology, T-Liner provides a verifi able,
non-leaking system. These compression gaskets
are embedded between the host pipe and the
LightRay Lateral Inversion (LRI) System is the most
advanced entrant to the UV-cast inversion liner
market. The simple design allows complete operator
control over the process and closely resembles
traditional, ambient-cure inversion methods.
The proprietary light train, which incorporates
cold LED lights that require no heat to cast the liner,
can accomplish throughput up to 6.3-feet-per-minute
of casting. Provided in a standard casting length
of 50 feet, the light train operates on a low-voltage
DC platform and is internally protected to accommodate
bends in pipes up to 90 degrees.
