United for Libraries President's Program to Focus on Relationship Building with Lawmakers
The United for Libraries President's Program, "How to Hug a Porcupine: Relationship Building with Lawmakers and Why
It's Important," will be held Sunday, June
23 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Washington

Brad Fitch, president and CEO of the
Congressional Management Foundation,
will discuss how to build relationships with

now a part of CQ-Roll Call Group, where
Fitch served as a vice president until 2010
when he returned to CMF. He has taught
journalism and public communications at
American University in Washington, DC,
where he served an adjunct associate professor of communications. He received his
B.A. degree in political science from Johns
Hopkins University and his M.A. degree in
journalism and public affairs from American University.
