We're unique because we've maintained commitment to the industry while continually providing solutions for its needs. Amy DeVore Janine Hildebrandt Amy is the Business Development Manager in CS' Interior Wall Protection division. Janine is a Product Marketing Manager with CS' Cubicle Curtain and Track division. How important is customization? How has it enhanced your products or relationships with clients? Customization is how we create many of our products, as they came from solving a problem with a specialized solution. It allows us to work on complicated projects and enhances our customer relationships. Why is collaborating important to your company? Tell us about some of your collaborations. Collaboration helps us discover how we can meet the market's need and solve their problems without creating more. Collaborating with other industry professionals in groups like IFMA, ASID and IIDA have been excellent outlets to share ideas. Since there are so many facets in creating an architectural concept, we have key involvements with owners, builders, engineers, architects and designers. What trends are you seeing in the industry? How will you incorporate them into your products? We're seeing biophilic design, and the urge to affiliate with others. Things like communal spaces and small group areas are important. It's vital in healthcare to help people to not feel so alone. It's really changing the way people heal. What are some challenges you're facing? How do you overcome those obstacles? We're constantly keeping the owner and the installer in mind. We're always thinking, 'Is our product easy to install and maintain?' We consider the product lifecycle and evaluate if ours can stand up to the owner's expectations.
