But don't let the summer fun get in the way of your
Healthcare Design Expo & Conference pre-planning, because November will be here before you
know it.
Now is an ideal time to do a cannonball and start
checking off some items on your to-do list. Here are
a few quick and easy tasks to get out of the way now.

* Update your profile in our HCD Connect portal. Just sign in to the portal and
make sure your categories and description are up to date and accurately represent your company and the image you'd like to present at the show.
* Expand your show and conference presence by participating in a sponsorship. Our account executives can help you find one that fits your desired goal.
* Review the exhibitor kit. There are discounts available when you order items
for your booth early.
* Start a pre-show attendee engagement plan. According to a study conducted
by the Center for Exhibition Industry Research, 86 percent of trade show
attendees were decision-makers or influenced buying decisions, yet 85 percent had not been called on by a salesperson prior to attending a trade show.
* Consider the design of your booth. Exhibit space provides the first impression of what a company is about. Are you creating an image that's inviting
and draws in attendees?

* Be mindful of hotel room blocks. Rooms at the host hotel tend to go first. This
year's Hilton New Orleans Riverside has a great restaurant, bar, and lobby
area, so don't miss out on being where all the action is at night.
* Identify your goals and objectives for this year's HCD Expo. Do you have a
specific product category you'd like to learn more about or knowledge area
you'd like to expand through our educational sessions?
* Sign up for tours and workshops. Limited seats are available on a first-come,
first-serve basis and tend to fill up quickly.
