our November event and how to create an even

WHILE THE SKY may be clouded with uncertain-

ty across many industries right now, one thing
is for sure-all of us on Team HCD are keeping
our focus on the 2020 Healthcare Design Expo
& Conference scheduled for Nov. 7-10 in Nashville, Tenn. With optimism and hope, we're already learning new ways to adapt until we can
once again return to some semblance of normal
as we support this industry as it navigates the
COVID -19 pandemic. One of the ways we've
learned to adapt within our evolving event
industry is through virtual content, which I am very excited about and
think you will be, too.
We already have the ball rolling with Healthcare Design magazine's
new webinar offerings, where attendees have heard from panels of industry experts on the most important healthcare design topics, at no
cost. Next up, we're actively working on a plan to incorporate more virtual aspects into the show for an utterly dynamic experience-whether
you're at or away from the convention center. Exploring this virtual side
of the show has been very enlightening and thought-provoking, especially when you consider all the possibilities and new opportunities on
the horizon for the HCD Expo & Conference and the value it delivers to
attendees, exhibitors, and speakers alike.
Although the final conference program is still being developed, I can
tell you with certainty that it will live up to your expectations and feature
new knowledge and insight relevant to our current healthcare climate.
We expect more than 120 conference sessions, along with riveting keynotes, exciting awards presentations, interactive workshops, and local
facility tours. We're also bringing back Healthcare Design's much-anticipated Breaking Through conceptual design competition, plus one attendee will walk away with $10,000 from our annual cash giveaway!
Last but certainly not least, we're making it a top priority during show
planning to collaborate with the team at Nashville's Music City Center
on hygienic accommodations and on-site resources to support necessary
safety protocols. We'll continue to do so until we're 100 percent confident
that we're providing the safest environment for all of us in November.
Nashville will be a great host for the upcoming show, and I look forward to seeing you and hearing about your personal experiences during
this unprecedented time. Registration is scheduled to open at the end of
June, so I encourage you to consider joining us in Music City, where the
beat goes on. Until we meet again, which we all hope is soon, I wish you,
your family, and colleagues health and wellness. 
