Compact Wheelchair Recliner Linear Drive The Compact Wheelchair Recliner is designed to assist in the treatment of patients who are confi ned to their wheelchairs - it can be used for dentistry, ophthalmic and ear nose and throat procedures. When reclined it places the patients head in a position for treatment by seated clinicians. This enhances the comfort for both staff and patient. The design meets the requirements of small storage space and excellent functionality. The front of the platform can be folded backwards to halve the space for storage and the backrest assembly can be lowered to provide a packaged unit to store under a work surface. It can tilt to 60 degrees, as a recovery position, but treatment is recommended at 45 degrees (some American states require the tilt to be limited to 45 degrees). The recliner is fitted with an innovative 'cradle form' back rest and an adjustable head/neck support headrest. The recliner moves on concealed, retractable ball castors and glides very easily. The smooth finishes and contours of the recliner allow easy wipe down cleaning. * Capable of handling both manual and electric wheelchairs * Treatment in a seated position - dentist position left or right * Adjustable backrest to accommodate all wheelchair types * Open fronted with a wide entrance for easy wheelchair positioning * Can be folded for easy storage * Rises on ball castors for easy movement - can fit through any standard door * Width suitable for our Bariatric Bench * Storage floor area 1073mm x 650mm (42.3 " x 25.5 " ), height when backrest is folded down 565mm (22.2 " ) * Constructed of light weight alloys * Vinyl storage cover available * No trailing wires, battery operated for a full shift operation; charge overnight * Easy clean surfaces * Tested to 500kg (78st or 1100lbs) * Electrically operated, computer controlled back up battery pack supplied Technical specifications * CE, SFDA, TGA and FDA compliant Medical Devices Directive Class 1 93/42 EC * Every platform individually load tested and certificated to ISO9386-1:2000 and BS EN1570:1999 * Safety strip switches at all vulnerable points to BS EN954-1:1996 * Complies with Machinery Directive 98/37/EC * EMC Directive 2004/108/EC * Medical Electrical Equipment BS EN60601-1-2:2007 * Safety of Machinery BS EN1037+A1:2008 * Safety of Machinery BS EN1088+A2:2008 * Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC The recliner can accommodate both manual and electric wheelchairs sales@designspecific.us.com designspecific.us.com US Print Format 8.5x10.5in-0.125bleed.indd 2 23SM2038 www.henryschein.com/sm 10/03/2023 11:08 61http://designspecific.us.com http://www.henryschein.com/sm
