INDICATIONS AND USAGE
DAPTACEL® is a vaccine indicated for active immunization
against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis as a five dose series
in infants and children 6 weeks through 6 years of age (prior
to 7th birthday).
The five dose immunization series consists of a 0.5 mL
intramuscular injection administered at 2, 4, 6 and 15-20
months of age, and at 4-6 years of age.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE
INFANRIX® is a vaccine indicated for active immunization
against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis as a 5‐dose series in
infants and children 6 weeks to 7 years of age.
A 0.5‐mL intramuscular injection given as a 5‐dose series:
* One dose each at 2, 4, and 6 months of age.
* One booster dose at 15 to 20 months of age and another
booster dose at 4 to 6 years of age.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE
KINRIX® is indicated for active immunization against diphtheria,
tetanus, pertussis, and poliomyelitis as the fifth dose in the
diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis (DTaP) vaccine series
and the fourth dose in the inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV)
series in children 4 through 6 years of age whose previous
DTaP vaccine doses have been with INFANRIX® and/or
PEDIARIX® for the first three doses and INFANRIX® for the
fourth dose.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE
PEDIARIX® is a vaccine indicated for active immunization
against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, infection caused by all
known subtypes of hepatitis B virus, and poliomyelitis. PEDIARIX® is
approved for use as a three‐dose series in infants born of hepatitis
B surface antigen (HBsAg)‐negative mothers. PEDIARIX® may be
given as early as 6 weeks of age through 6 years of age (prior
to the 7th birthday). Three doses (0.5 mL each) by intramuscular
injection at 2, 4, and 6 months of age.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE
Pentacel® is a vaccine indicated for active immunization
against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, poliomyelitis and invasive
disease due to Haemophilus influenzae type b. Pentacel® vaccine
is approved for use as a four dose series in children 6 weeks
through 4 years of age (prior to 5th birthday). The four dose
immunization series consists of a 0.5 mL intramuscular injection,
after reconstitution, administered at 2, 4, 6 and 15-18 months
of age.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE
Quadracel™ vaccine is indicated for active immunization
against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and poliomyelitis. A single
dose of Quadracel vaccine is approved for use in children 4
through 6 years of age as a fifth dose in the diphtheria, tetanus,
pertussis vaccination (DTaP) series, and as a fourth or fifth dose
in the inactivated poliovirus vaccination (IPV) series, in children
who have received 4 doses of Pentacel® (Diphtheria and Tetanus
Toxoids and Acellular Pertussis Adsorbed, Inactivated Poliovirus
and Haemophilus b Conjugate [Tetanus Toxoid Conjugate]
Vaccine) and/or DAPTACEL® (Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids
and Acellular Pertussis Vaccine Adsorbed).
