DESSLoc® retention elements removal and insertion tool EXTRACTION 1. Place the tool in the following position, making two complete turns on the gold side. 2. Use the tool to remove the old retainer. Press with it until you hear a " click " , finish with a slight lever movement. 3. Screw in the tool to eject the retainer. RETENTION INSERTION 4. Completely remove the gold part of the tool. 5. Place the new retainer on the end. 6. Press on the cup until you hear a " click " . 4. DESSLoc® 5. INSERTION 1. Use the back of the PHLOC tool to facilitate placement on the models.
